The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said on May 15 that theevent is held by its Art Performance Organisation Centre and the MexicanEmbassy.
It said the artist will also deliver a lecture at the Vietnam National Academy of Music the following day.
Born in Mexico City, Juan Carlos Laguna studied at the National Schoolof Music of the National University of Mexico and won manyinternational guitar competitions such as those in Japan and PuertoRico.
He has performed at a number of internationalconcerts, lectured at music schools in Mexico and other countries, andacted as a judge at many guitar contests. Global renowned composers havealso written musical pieces exclusively for him to play and invited himto debut their works.-VNA
