Ministry works on documentaries to advertise tourism

Hanoi(VNA) - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Culture is producing twodocumentaries aimed at advertising domestic tourism following the ministry’stourism advertising through cinema project.
The documentaries are PhienCho Vung Cao (A Mountainous Market) and Mui Ne – Vung Bien Thuc (MuiNe – An Awake Sea).
Each of the two workswill last for 12 minutes, with English and French subtitles.
They will be screened at all national level official events of cinema andtourism fields in the following year, such as Vietnamese film weeks in Singapore,the Republic of Korea, Cuba and Canada.
The docs will bebroadcast on websites of the Cinema Department, the National Administration ofTourism and the Vietnamese Film Festival.
The ministry will alsogive DVDs of the documentaries to its domestic, foreign tourism and cinemapartners, as well as artists and audiences.-VNA
A programme with the theme of “Hanoi – the cradle of cultural heritage” has been held in Paris in an effort to introduce Hanoi’s and Vietnam’s cultural essence as well as recent tourism policies.
