Miss Friendship ASEAN 2017’s finale takes place in Phu Yen
Thirty contestants from Southeast Asian countries have gathered in Tuy Hoa city of the south central province of Phu Yen to join the finale of the Miss Friendship of ASEAN 2017 that takes place from June 15 to July 2.

The contestants are winners and runner-ups of national orregional beauty contests.
Within the framework of the pageant, contestants will visita number of local historical sites and landscapes where they will joinactivities to promote the destinations, explore the culture and food of thelocality, and take part in social welfare activities.
After finishing fast track competitions, including bikini,traditional costumes and talent, the contestants will take part in a gala nightat 20:00pm on July 1 in Sao Mai Theatre in Tuy Hoa.
The Miss Friendship of ASEAN is a regional contest that aimsto seek a face representing the spirit of friendship and peace among ASEANmember countries. This is also a chance to introduce the land and people ofVietnam and Phu Yen in particular to foreign friends in the ASEAN and theworld.
The pageant is also part of activities to mark the 50thfounding anniversary of the ASEAN (August 8, 1967-2017).-VNA
