Chairman of the district People’s Committee Nguyen Cao Cuong said the event aimed to preserve traditional cultural values and develop tourism.
Art performances featuring the diversified culture of Mong people living in Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark took place during the festival.
Visitors to the event were offered a chance to enjoy Khen (pan pipe) performances, experience local life and participate in folk games.-VNA

The springtime festival, themed ‘Colours of spring from every corner of the country’, will be held from February 10-15 at the Vietnamese Ethnic Groups Culture-Tourism Village in Hanoi.

The outcome shows the trust and recognition that member states have given Vietnam for its efforts and achievements in carrying out and promoting the Convention, as well as for its active role, strong standing, and growing credibility at UNESCO.
Quang Duc pottery is known for its wide range of forms, including wine bottles, jars, lime pots, vases, plant pots, incense burners and candle stands. Decorative motifs are equally rich, featuring mythical creatures, pastoral scenes, floral patterns, deer, peacocks, bats and more.
