- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has ordered completion of temporary and dilapidated housing removal for people with meritorious services, war invalids, and relatives of martyrs ahead of July 27.

Chairing the 6th meeting of the Central Steering Committee for Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses across the nation on July 9 in Hannoi, the PM said the move is part of a practical and meaningful effort to honour the sacrifices and contributions of war heroes and those who rendered meritorious service to the nation. - ASEAN plays a role as a "beacon of peace" and a model regional organisation for dialogue, cooperation, and the peaceful settlement of differences, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son stated at the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat within the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting (AMM-58) in Malaysia on July 9.

- Vietnam’s industrial production in the second quarter of 2025 continued to grow, with the Industrial Index of Production (IIP) estimated to rise by 10.3% year-on-year, including a 12.3% increase in the processing and manufacturing sector, according to the latest report from the National Statistics Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Finance.
