Hanoi (VNA) – A jet fighter of Myanmar military lostcontact during a training mission in the morning of September 5, Chinese newsagency Xinhua reported, citing the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of theDefence Service as source.

The news agency said the G-4 fighter jet went missing while conducting aflight training in southern Ayeyarwady region. Information is not available onthe number of persons on board the plane.
