Hanoi (VNA) - National Assembly deputies focused their discussion on the country’s socio-economic performance outcomes in 2015 and plans 🐼for 2016 during their si⛄tting of the on-going 10th session on November 3.
They stressed the importance of determining growth models, and debated measures to quicken the economic restructuring in the near future.
How to use and develop effectively resources for socio-economic development and enhance international integration and sustainable development was also on the agenda.
Deputies also contributed their opinions on measures to promote regional economic development and administrative reform; policies for science and technology application and development, business development of the private economic area, modernity-oriented industry and maritime-based economic development; and how to improve the quality of human resources and vocational training, among others.
Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat, and Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien joined explanations to clear up issues related to the sectors under their management.
In the afternoon, legislators discussed the implementation of State budget plan in 2015, State budget estimates and allocation plans in 2016, and the issuance of Government bonds to international capital market.
Opinions during the debate concentrated on solutions to curbing budget deficit and settling public debts, State budget management, the use of leftover Government bonds from transport projects in 2015.
