Hanoi (VNA) – Over the past six months, the National Assembly (NA) has made progress in implementing a digital parliament model and integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into its operations, achieving encouraging initial results, said Chairman Tran Thanh Man while chairing a conference on the topic in Hanoi on June 25.

The top legislator noted that, in line with the Politburo’s Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, the NA had issued Resolution 193/2025/QH15, piloting a number of special mechanisms and policies to drive such breakthroughs. He added that the Law on Science, Technology, and Innovation is expected to be passed in the near future.

Man highlighted that in recent years, the NA has utilised iPads to provide session documents to deputies, reducing reliance on printed materials. At its ongoing 9th session, the new National Assembly App 2.0 has been introduced. He also commended Viettel Group for its investment in equipment and personnel serving the app.
