National Assembly wraps up Q&A session of fifth sitting

Hanoi (VNA) – The 15th National Assemblyconcluded 💯its Q&A session of the fifth sitting in Hanoi on June 8, after twoand a half ꦦdays.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Huesaid the Q&A session took place in a democratic andstraightforward manner, attracting the interest of voters and people nationwide. Together with four ministers providing mainresponses, Deputy PMs Tran Hong Ha and Tran Luu Quang and the Ministers of Finance,Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development explained issues relatedto labour, invalids and social affairs, science and technology, transport andethnic affairs. Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai offered furtherclarification on issues within the shared responsibility of the Government. He alsodirectly -responded to questions raised by deputies in the Q&A session. At the fifth session, 454 turns of deputies registeredto raise questions, 112 exercised their right to ask questions, and 49 engagedin debates to further clarify issues of concern. This raised the total turns of deputies engaged in the Q&A sessions during the first two years of the 15th legislature to 861. Hue also hailed Deputy PMs, ministers andheads of sectors for demonstrating a high sense of responsibility by engaging inthe serious clarification of issues of lawmakers’ concern./.
