New book on Vietnam martial arts released to public

A book on the history of Vietnamese traditional martial arts was released in HCM City on June 17.
A book on the history of Vietnamese traditional martial arts was released in HCM City on June 17.

The book, chronicling the development of Vietnamese martial arts fromVan Lang State (BC 2879-258) to date was compiled by Pham Dinh Phong,vice president of Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts Federation overmore than 10 years.

The 784-page book has twosections. The first introduces the historical, cultural and socialcontext in which Vietnamese martial arts developed, its legends andheroes, schools and so on.

The second section details the Vietnamese martial arts system with descriptions of various kinds and techniques.

There are more than 150 martial arts schools now open in different parts of the country.

Exhibition features President Ho Chi Minh as found🐻er of Vietnam’s revolution♊ary press

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
