Nghe An (VNA) – An international air routelinking Vinh city in the central province of Nghe An and Bangkok was opened onFebruary 23 at the Vinh Airport, together with the commissioning of itsinternational lounge.

The move will facilitate the acceleration ofsocio-economic-cultural development of the region as it serves the attractionof investment and trade activities, insiders said, describing this as animportant step to open more routes in the time to come.

Also on the day, a charter flight was made on the route andanother carrying 180 passengers from Thailand, the biggest group in many recent years,arrived at the Vinh Airport.-VNA
