Da Nang (VNA) – The Embassies ofthe UK and Australia in Vietnam have launched a new visa application centre inthe central city of Da Nang on December 13.
With the new office, Vietnamese citizens in thecentral region will no longer have to travel to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City tosubmit their visa applications to the UK and Australia.
Located at ACB Building - No.218, Bach DangStreet, Hai Chau District, the centre will open between 8:30 am and 5:00 pmfrom Monday to Friday.
Deputy Head of Mission at the UK Embassy StephenLysaght said the UK Government pledges to improve visa services for Vietnamesepeople.
The embassy will offer online visa application alongwith documents in Vietnamese about requirements to get a visa, he added.
He hoped the new service will help expandtourism, trade and education cooperation between Vietnam and the UK.

The British Government has decided to cut visa processing time for business, investor and work visa applicants in Hanoi, with a priority visa service which starts on October 1.
