Outgoing Cuban Ambassador pledges to further ties with Vietnam
Outgoing Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Herminio Lopez Diaz vowed to continue making contributions to the growth of bilateral relations at a meeting with Party chief Nguyen Phu Trong in Hanoi on Sept 11.

Hanoi (VNA) – Outgoing CubanAmbassador to Vietnam Herminio Lopez Diaz vowed to continue makingcontributions to the development of bilateral relations at a meeting with PartyGeneral Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in Hanoi on September 11.
The diplomat thanked significant support hehad received from the Party, Government and public agencies throughout his tenurein Vietnam over the past four years.
He expressed his pleasure with progressmade in Cuba-Vietnam ties, particularly in cooperation between the two parties,and partnerships in the sectors of trade-investment, agriculture, defence,security, and people-to-people exchange.
He said he appreciates Vietnam’s sharing itstheoretical and practical experience on economic reform with Cuba.
