Panama - A bridge connecting Vietnam to Latin American market

Panama is the third largest market of Vietnam in Latin America, which is also a bridge for Vietnam to enter this potential regional market.
As a link between the North and South of America, Panama is proud to be “a land of wealth" with dreamy beaches, tropical forests and a diverse ecosystem. Although being half way around the world, the bilateral cooperation between Panama and Vietnam has always been maintained and developed well.
The two countries’ leaders have made many high-level visits to exchange and discuss ways to enhance cooperation in many fields. Panama is the third largest market of Vietnam in Latin America, which is also a bridge for Vietnam to enter this potential regional market.
The Central American economy also wants Vietnam to become a gateway to the ASEAN market. The two-way trade experienced a steady growth in recent years, from 233 million USD in 2014 to 300 million USD in 2018./.
