Hanoi (VNA)💖 – The 11th Party Central Committee convened its 13th meeting in Hanoi on December 14 under the chair of Party General Secretary Nguyen PhuTrong.
In the morning, the delegates heard the Politburo’s report on collecting opinions contributed by all-level Party congresses and the public to the draft political report that will be submitted to the 12th Party Congress, slated for early 2016.
They also heard the Politburo’s explanation report on opinions to the draft report on the assessment of the performance of socio-economic development plans from 2011-2015, and orientations and tasks for socio-economic developmentin the next five years.
In the afternoon, the delegates worked in groups to discussthe collection of comments on draft documents to theupcoming 12th National Party Congress .
The meeting, scheduled to run through December 22, is expected to give much attention to all-round preparations for the 12th National Party Congress.
Issues high on the agenda include personnel planning for the 12th Party Central Committee, Political Bureau, Secretariat and Commission of Inspection. It will also discuss draft working and election regulations of the 12th national congress.
The implementation of the resolution on Party building issued at the 11th Party Central Committee’s fourth meeting will also be reviewed.-VNA
The sub-committee on the organisation of the 12th National Party Congress convened its fourth session in Hanoi on November 5, discussing a report on agencies’ preparations for the event so far.
Key officials of all-levels Party Committees, organisations and inspection commissions were required to work harder in order to raise the efficiency of the Party’s inspection and supervision.

During the negotiations, the US highly evaluated Vietnam’s goodwill and efforts, affirmed its appreciation for the bilateral relationship, acknowledged Vietnam’s proposals and concerns, and considered these an important basis for continuing discussions and moving towards a final agreement.
