Ky made the statement inHanoi on October 24 when receiving Barbara Virginia Doval Martinez, CJAVice Chairperson, who is in Vietnam from October 21-26 for a workingvisit at the invitation of the Vietnamese Journalists’ Association.
He praised the newly-signed cooperation agreement between the twoassociations, which aims at boosting bilateral collaboration andpromoting profession sharing.
The Cuban guestexpressed hope that following the visit, the two associations willpromptly launch operations mentioned in the agreement, as part ofefforts to contribute to consolidating the traditional friendshipbetween Vietnam and Cuba.-VNA
