HCM City (VNA) – The BRP Ramon Alcaraz of the Philippine Navy and 187 officers and crewmembers docked at theinternational port in Ho Chi Minh City on September 7 for a four-day officialvisit.

This is the third time a Philippine naval ship has visited Vietnam tofurther strengthen the friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding betweenthe two countries’ armies and navies.

During the visit from September 7-10, the Philippine naval delegationwill pay courtesy calls to leaders of HCM City People’s Committee and the headof the High Command of the Naval Region 2. They will also engage in sportexchanges with officers and sailors at the Vietnam Navy Technical College, andvisit Vietnamese naval ships.-VNA
