Hanoi (VNA) – A head-on collision between a passenger busand a cargo truck killed three and injured 73 others in the Philippines in theearly morning of May 7.
Local police said the accident occurred on a highway in Atimonantown in Quezon province. The driver of the truck, his helper and a passenger inthe bus were killed at the scene.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals, they said.
Initial investigation showed that the bus driver tried to overtakeseveral vehicles in the two-lane highway when it collided with the oncomingtruck.-VNA
