Philippines: 8 people killed in fire in Manila residential area

Hanoi (VNA)𝓰 – At least eight people were killed after a fire broke out in a three-storey rental house in Barangay San Isidro Galas, Quezon city, the Philippines on February 27.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that the victims included four men and four women. Three of the victims were minors aged two, 12, and 15.
The fire started on the second floor at 2:01 am and was extinguished after 40 minutes. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No information yet as to the estimated cost of damages and the number of residents affected./.
