Hanoi (VNA)🧜 – Up to 180 photos on UNESCO-recognisedworld heritage sites in both Vietnam and Laos will be displayed at anexhibition scheduled to open in Vientiane fromApril 20-30.

The exhibition, to be held as part of the activities to strengthen cultural exchanges between the two countries, is to promote imagesof Vietnamese landscape, people and culture to Lao and international friends there andvice versa, thus helping further solidify the special bond between the two nations through photography. During the event, the first of its kind, Vietnamesephotographers will attend cultural exchanges to takeplace in Vientiane and Luang Phrabang city, as well as in Champasack andXiengkhuang provinces./.

ꦦ Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
