Phnom Penh (VNA)ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinhon November 12 met Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, affirming thatbilateral comprehensive strategic partnership has a firm ground to furtherdevelop.

On the cooperationorientations, the two leaders agreed to maintain contacts and exchanges at thehigh level and all levels. PM Chinh proposed thetwo sides intensify their cooperation in economy, trade and investment, askedIndia to further open its door to Vietnam’s commodities, and welcome Indianfirms to invest in information technology, pharmacy, education, agriculture andenergy. The two sides agreed tofurther make use of their cooperation potential in defence-security, maritimecooperation, sustainable development, energy, etc. They also agreed to continuetheir close coordination and mutual support at regional and international forumsin issues of mutual interests, including ensuring security, safety, and freedomof navigation and aviation. The Indian VicePresident affirmed Vietnam is one of the important partners in India’s foreignpolicy; and agreed with PM Chinh’s proposal on the holding of a meeting of theVietnam – India Joint Committee on Economic, Trade, Science and TechnologyCooperation early next year. PM Chinh conveyed invitationsfrom Vietnamese high-ranking leaders to Indian President Droupadi Murmu, PrimeMinister Narendra Modi, and Vice President cum Chairman of Upper House Jagdeep Dhankhar to visitVietnam./.
