Hanoi (VNA) –Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and a high-ranking delegation of Vietnam leftHanoi on April 25 morning for the second Belt and Road Forum for InternationalCooperation in Beijing, China, from April 25 to 27.

He is accompanied by Deputy PM and ForeignMinister Pham Binh Minh, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai TienDung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Planning andInvestment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The, Minister ofAgriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Minister of NaturalResources and Environment Tran Hong Ha, and Inspector General of the GovernmentInspectorate Le Minh Khai, among others.

PM Phuc’s trip to attend the second Belt andRoad Forum, made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Partyof China Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping, takes placeamidst the stable development and new strides in the two countries’ relations.

Regular mutual high-level visits and meetingshave helped enhance political trust between the two sides. Exchange andcooperation mechanisms at different levels and between their sectors andlocalities have continued to be implemented effectively.

Meanwhile, economic, trade, investment andtourism partnerships have kept growing. People-to-people exchange has also beenpromoted strongly.-VNA
