Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received Cambodian Minister of Justice Ang Vong Vathana in Hanoi on January 21.
At the reception, Dung spoke highly of the outcomes of the meetingbetween Vathana and his Vietnamese counterpart Ha Hung Cuong, especiallythe signing of an agreement on mutual legal assistance in civilmatters.
This important agreement will create alegal foundation to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of thetwo countries’ individuals, organisations and businesses engaged incivil matters, he noted.
The PM expressed his wishthat the two ministries will continue close coordination to effectivelyimplement the cooperation agreements.
As a friendlyneighbour of Cambodia , Vietnam congratulates Cambodia on itsall-faceted achievements in national development and integration, whichcontinuously improve its role and position in the international arena,he stressed.
