President: Vietnam facilitates entry of Azerbaijan’s goods
President Tran Dai Quang has assured Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Natig Aga Emi Olgu Aliyev that Vietnam is ready to create favourable conditions for Azerbaijan’s goods to enter the country.

Hanoi (VNA) – PresidentTran Dai Quang has assured Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Natig Aga Emi OlguAliyev that Vietnam is ready to create favourable conditions for Azerbaijan’sgoods to enter the country.
During a reception in Hanoi onJanuary 18, Quang hailed the visit at the beginning of this year, which marksthe 25th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties, adding that theVietnamese leaders always support the deepening of bilateral relations for thesake of the two peoples.
Discussing measures to boostbilateral economic, trade and investment ties, he suggested accelerating therealisation of high-level agreements and the outcomes of the first session ofthe Inter-Governmental Commission on Economic-Trade and Science-TechnologyCooperation.
In order to lift two-way trade,Vietnam is willing to export agro-fisheries, electronics and computers toAzerbaijan, he said, adding that both sides should consider resuming cooperationin education-training and expanding connections in culture and tourism as wellas launching a direct flight between Hanoi and Baku.
He said Vietnam wants Azerbaijanto continue assisting the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group in joining more oiland gas exploitation projects in the country.
Minister Olgu Aliyev, for hispart, thanked the Vietnamese State and Government for creating favourableconditions for the session, during which, both sides reached a number of deals.
He agreed with the President’sproposed measures to intensify bilateral partnership, especially in oil andgas, science-technology, culture and tourism.-VNA
