Tokyo (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on July 1 met with the staff ofthe Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and representatives of the Vietnamese communityin the country.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Kunio Umeda in Hanoi on June 20 to discuss measures to promote cooperation between the two countries.
The trade relations between Vietnam and Japan have been growing since the establishment of bilateral strategic partnership in 2009, then elevated to comprehensive strategic partnership in 2014.
