Public service satisfaction index to be announced in October

The satisfaction index of public administration services reflecting the levels of individual and organisational satisfaction with some public administrative services will be released this October, said a conference in Hanoi.
The satisfaction index of public administration services reflectingthe levels of individual and organisational satisfaction with somepublic administrative services will be released this October, said aconference in Hanoi.

The April 21 event was co-organised by theVietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), andVietnam Veterans’ Association (VVA) to discuss the implementation of acoordination programme determining the satisfaction index of publicadministration services in 2015.

The programme will initially beimplemented on a small scale, focusing on six administrative proceduresat district and commune levels.

The three district-levelprocedures chosen for inspection are the granting of identificationcards, land use right certificates and house building licences. Publicservices under scrutiny at commune level are the issuance of marriagecertificates, birth certificates and the notarising of forms.

A survey will be completed across 36 districts and 108 communes ofseven provinces, representing some of the country’s major regions.Vietnam’s three most populous cities – Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and DaNang City – will be included.

The survey is planned to be carried out in July.-VNA
