Hanoi (VNA) – A quiz on Vietnam’s history andculture for high school students was launched by the Ho Chi Minh CommunistYouth Union (HCYU)’s Central Committee and the Ministry of Education andTraining on December 20.
The “Proud of Vietnam” quiz, the fourth of its kind, aims todrum up students’ interest in exploring and studying national history andculture, inspire patriotism and national pride, and raise sense of responsibilityamong the young Vietnamese in constructing and safeguarding the nation.
Questions focus on cultures of localities and ethnic groups; history of theCommunist Party of Vietnam, HCYU and the Vietnamese Students’ Association; lifeand career of late President Ho Chi Minh; the country’s 35 years of “Doi Moi”(Renewal); new policies on development of Vietnamese culture and peopleoutlined in the 13th National Party Congress’ documents; andcultural development strategy towards 2030.
Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee Nguyen Minh Trietsaid since it debuted in 2015, the quiz has attracted over 300,000 participantswho were students from high schools and centres for vocational training andcontinuing education across the country.
It will be available on tuhaovietnam.doanthanhnien.vnand mobile app “Thanh nien Viet Nam” (Vietnamese youth), with the nationalfinale and award ceremony slated for March 26, 2022./.
