Reference exchange rate down 10 VND at week’s beginning

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,288 VND/USD on November 18, down 10 VND from the last working day of the previous week.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,288 VND/USD on November 18, down 10 VND from the last working day of the previous week.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,502 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,074 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw decreases.

At 8:31 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,180 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,502 VND/USD, both down 10 VND from November 15.

🍸 BIDV also cut both rates by 10 VND, posting the buying rate at 25,190 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,502 VND/USD./.
