Revolution contributors to receive Tet gifts

MoLISA has proposed presenting gifts worth over 386 billion VND (17 million USD) to contributors to the nation’s revolution on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

- The Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) has proposed presenting gifts worth over 386 billion VND (17 million USD) to contributors to the nation’s revolution onthe occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) festival. 

Empowered by the Prime Minister, the MoLISA will submitthe proposal to President Tran DaiQuang for approval. 

The beneficiaries are those who joined the revolutionbefore the AugustRevolution in 1945, heroic mothers, heroesof the people’s armed forces, seriously wounded ex-servicemen, war veteransexposed to Agent Orange/Dioxin, war invalids, and relatives of martyrs, amongothers. 

The programme’s funding is sourced from the Statebudget.-VNA
