RoK presents scholarships to Thua Thien-Hue students
Kyungdong University of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on May 11 granted scholarships worth 26 billion VND (1.17 million USD) to 42 high-school students in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue.

Thua Thien-Hue (VNA) – Kyungdong University of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on May 11 granted scholarsh✱ips worth 26 billion VND (1.17 million USD) to 42 high-sc𒊎hool students in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue who are going to learn at the university.
Among these students, five received full-tuition scholarships, while 28 are provided with 70 percent of tuitions and nine with 50 percent of tuitions in four years.
The first exam for Kyung University scholarships was organised in July 2015 for students across Vietnam.
Through this exam, the university chose 568 outstanding students to receive scholarships totaling over 91 billion VND.
The scholarship granting aims to intensify the Vietnam-RoK relations and boost the bilateral cultural and educational cooperation.
About 4,500 Vietnamese students are currently pursuing education in the RoK.-VNA

In recent decades, Vietnam’s mainstream media has become a reliable and persuasive channel for showcasing the nation’s development policies and achievements, especially in economic matters, according to a senior assistant editor at the Times of India.
A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
