The National Cinema Centre presents a Russian Film Week starting on November 7 until November 11.
The Russia’s film week programme aims to promote cultural exchangesand strengthen traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnamand Russia in the time to come, said Deputy Minister of Culture,Sports and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien at the launching event in Hanoi onNovember 7.
For his part, Russian Federation toVietnam Charge D’ affaires Gennady S. Bezdetko stressed that since theVietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership signed in 2012,strong developments have been seen in the politic, military, economic,scientific and cultural relations.
The culturalcooperation between the two countries has been promoted vigorously.Russian and Vietnamese leaders’ visits and people to people exchangeshave contributed to cementing mutual understanding and creatingfavourable conditions for two countries to obtain their common goals.
Vietnamese audiences will have a chance to enjoyseveral top Russian films including “Mothers”, “Christmas Tree”, “FiveBrides”, “My Boyfriend-Angel” and “White Tiger”./.
The Vietnamese team will gather on June 26 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, where they will train until July 14 before departing for Indonesia for the ASEAN U23 Championship 2025, which runs from July 15 to 29. Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22 in the group stage.

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
