Seminar spotlights values of President Ho Chi Minh’s thought

In his opening remarks, Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburomember and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, highlightedthe path for national salvation found by President Ho.
Under the leadership of the President and theCommunist Party of Vietnam (CPV), the national revolution has overcome a rangeof difficulties and challenges to gain various victories, he said.
Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member, Secretary of the CPVCentral Committee and head of the CPV Central Committee’s Information andEuducation Commission, urged each official and Party member to make greaterefforts to serve the nation and people as reminded by the late leader.
HCMA Director Nguyen Xuan Thang said President Ho’sthought, morality and lifestyle is the valuable guidance for the Vietnamese Party,army and people to surpass difficulties and challenges.
He stressed the significance of enhancing the studyingand following of the President’s though, morality and lifestyle in Partybuilding and rectification.
The seminar, which saw the participation of more than300 leaders, managers and scientists, looked into President Ho’s life andcareer, as well as his great contributions to Vietnam’s revolutionary cause andcommunist, worker and national liberation movements in the world.
President Ho’s thought, morality and lifestyle hasbecome huge, valuable heritage of the Vietnamese Party and people, which will lightup the CPV’s revolutionary cause forever, the delegates said.
On this occasion, they proposed orientations, tasksand solutions in socio-economic development, Party and political systembuilding and national defence in line with the leader’s thought./.
Hanoi will organise a range of activities to mark the 130th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19), according to a plan recently adopted by the municipal Party Committee.
