HCM City (VNA)💛 - A ceremony to see off the Vietnamese delegation to the 11th ASEAN Para Games was held in Ho Chi Minh City on July20.
The delegationcomprises 153 members, including 18 coaches and 120 athletes.
With 14 sports, the 11th ASEAN Para Games isscheduled to take place in Indonesia from July 26 to August 7.
🅘 Vietnamese athletes will compete in eightsports, namely athletics, swimming, powerlifting, badminton, table tennis,chess, judo, and archery.

According to Vice head of the Vietnam Sports Administration under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Hong Minh, who is headof the delegation, this is a difficult games for the Vietnam delegation becausefor more than three years, most athletes have not competed at international events.

The 2022 Asian Para Games, scheduled to take place in the Chinese city of Hangzhou this year, has been postponed to 2023 over the COVID-19 pandemic, the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) and the Games' organising committee (HAPGOC) have announced.
The Vietnamese delegation to the approaching 11th ASEAN Para Games is set to comprise 155 members, including 122 athletes, according to the National Sports Administration.
Nguyen Trong Nha Uyen has made history for Vietnam’s dancesport by clinching a bronze medal in the solo Latin category at the WDSF World Championship 2025 in Germany.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.

For the first time, Vietnamese audiences will have the opportunity to experience the ballet masterpiece "Don Quixote" in its original version by renowned choreographer Marius Petipa.
