Hanoi (VNA) – The tourism agency of Seoul held an event in Hanoi onSeptember 3 to promote the capital city of the Republic of Korea (RoK) toVietnamese travellers, with the participation of Korean firms and 130 traveland aviation enterprises of Vietnam.
Inthe recent three years, the number of Vietnamese tourists visiting the RoK roseabout 40 percent per year, making Vietnam one of the major markets of the RoKand Seoul in particular.
Atthe programme, the organisation board introduced new destinations in Seoul anda new tour to attract more Vietnamese visitors who are interested in theculture, entertainment and beauty sectors of the RoK.
Thethree-day tour will bring tourists to traditional cultural destinations in theRoK, studios where famous movieswere filmed, shopping malls, beauty clinics andfashionable clothes shops.
Lastyear, nearly 500,000 Vietnamesetourists visited the RoK, up about 41 percent over 2017.-VNA
The Vietnamese Tourism-Culture Festival will be held in the Republic of Korea (RoK) as part of activities celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Vietnam-RoK diplomatic relations (December 22), according to Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
