Thestamp collection, designed by artists from the Vietnam Post Corporation,includes four samples and one block, according to Radio the Voice ofVietnam (VOV) website.
These stamps will be put into circulation by December 31, 2014.
Xuan Thuy National Park is located 150 km southeast of Hanoi. Its rich alluvium soil supports a diversity of wetland flora andfauna, particularly migratory birds. Moreover, the park is the firstwetland area to become a Ramsar site in Southeast Asia.
Ithas 150 species of vascular plants, 120 of which particularly thrive inthe wetland habitat. The mangrove forest helps stabilise the alluviumsoil, as well as provide food and shelter for marine life and otherfauna while supporting storm and flood prevention./.
