State leader meets PetroVietnam's outstanding female workers

President Truong Tan Sang had a meeting with more than 100 outstanding female workers of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) in Hanoi on October 7.

 President Truong Tan Sang had a meeting with more than 100 outstanding female workers of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) in Hanoi on October 7 on the occasion of the group’s 40th founding anniversary.

He affirmed that after 40 years of construction and development, PetroVietnam becomes one of the country’s largest economic entities and contributes to asserting and safeguarding Vietnam’s sovereignty, sovereign right and jurisdiction over its exclusive economic zone.

The strength is the result efforts made by PetroVietnam staff, including female workers, he added.

The State leader expressed his hope that female workers continue their contributions to the oil and gas sector as well as their family happiness.

PetroVietnam has developed to a key economic group of the cou🌃ntry with the total staff of over 69,000 people, including 15,800 women.-VNA
