Hanoi (VNA) – The Social Order , Safety and Security Sub-Committee of the National Elect💝ion Council convened its first session in Hanoi January 8, under the chair of National Assembly Vice Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son.

Speaking at the event, Son, who is also the head of the sub-committee stressed that the sub-committee is responsible for supporting the Council to direct works related to ensuring security and social order during upcoming elections of the 14 th National Assembly (NA) and People’s Councils at all the levels for 2016-2021.
Participant discussed and gave comments on the draft working regulations of the sub-committee, the draft resolution of duty division for the sub-committee’s members, and agenda during the sub-committee’s meetings.
They also contributed opinions to coordination between the sub-committee with the NA’s Committee of Defence and Security in inspecting and supervising works to ensure security and social order in the nation’s key political events. Members of the sub-committee agreed on the draft documents.-VNA
