Supreme People’s Court official gives bicycles to ethnic students

Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court Truong Hoa Binh presented 100 bicycles worth a combined 100 million VND (4,460 USD) to poor ethnic students in the northern mountainous province of Lang Son.

Lang Son (VNA) – Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court Truong Hoa B🍎inh presented 100 bicycles worth a combined 100 million VND (4,460 USD) to poor ethnic students in the northern mountainous proviꦺnce of Lang Son on December 25.

The bicycles were donated by the Fund for Ethnic Students launched by People’ Police Newspaper in 2007 at the initiative of the Chief Judge.
At the event, the Chief Justice expressed his hope that the gifts will make it easier for the students to go to school and have more time for their studies.
He also called on local authorities to care more for local remote schools and ethnic students. Over the past eight years, the fund has raised tens of billions of VND to support thousands of needy children nationwide.-VNA
