Hanoi (VNA) ꧑– Nguyen Thanh Tam won the yellow jersey for best time at the Mekong Delta Cycling Tournament on August 20.

Tam of Gao Hat Ngoc Troi triumphed with a time of 26:23.42, followed Tam by Le Van Duan of VUS-HCM City and Ha Thanh Tam of An Giang Plant Protection.
In the penultimate 125km stage on August 21 morning, Pham Quoc Cuong finished first. Phan Thong Nhan of Can Tho and Do Tuan Anh of Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap were the runners-up. In the ninth and final stage in the afternoon, cyclists pedaled 40km in Rach Gia City. Nguyen Minh Thuan of Vinh Long beat Nguyen Duong Ho Vu of Binh Duong to win with a time of 1:03.16.
Duan won the green jersey award for earning 142 points. VUS-HCM City won the team title. Gao Hat Ngoc Troi and Mathnasium HCM City were second and third.-VNA
