In preparation for Automotive Summit 2017, slated for June 21-22 at BITEC Bangna Convention Centre, Thaicar makers have said they are aligned with the government’s 4.0 goals and wish to see the Kingdom become ahub of eco-friendly and environmentally sound car production. The summit is to feature talks oninnovations and automotive technology that will make the industry moreeco-friendly and other adaptations to achieve a 4.0 era. Acting Director of Thailand AutomotiveInstitute Nattapol Rangsitpol detailed that the summit will bring togetherexecutives from major car brands who will be sharing their ideas and knowledge.The event is to focus on electrical cars, which Nattapol said was a boon forThailand as it has prepared to convert its production for such vehicles.
