Thailand is preparing to host the 62nd International Congress of Meat Science & Technology (ICoMST) from August 14 - 19 to enhance the country’s meat production capacity within the ASEAN region.

It will be the first time the conference is held in Thailand or the ASEAN region, said Jutarat Sethakul, Chair of the Organising Committee for the 62nd ICoMST.
The event will focus on sustainable meat production, while serving to develop Thailand’s potential as a regional leader in meat production technology.
Over 600 businesses from 50 countries will attend ICoMST, which is an important platform for exchanging information and innovations in meat production between educational institutions and industrial sectors from across the globe.-VNA
