Thanh Hoa: Primary pupils benefit from Vinasoy programme

Thanh Hoa (VNA) – Up to 3,300🃏 primary pupils in the northern central province of Thanh Hoa will benefit from a nutrition programme launched by the Study Encouragement Fund of the Vietn♑am Soya Products Company (Vinasoy) during the first semester of 2016-2017 school year.

They are among 26,400 primary pupils in the northern provinces of Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Yen Bai, and Bac Giang and the central provinces of Thanh Hoa , Nghe An and Quang Ngai, targeted by “Healthy nutrition for children’s growth”.
The equivalent to over 2.2 million cartons of Fami Kid soymilk will be provided free under the programme that was kicked off at a ceremony in Thanh Hoa on August 29, aiming to improve mind and physical strength and reduce malnutrition for children. Besides, the programme will coordinate with localities’ authorities to organise medical checks-up, extra-curricular activities, and games.
On the occasion, Vinasoy presented 20 scholarships each worth 1 million VND (45 USD) to outstanding, impoverished primary pupils in Thanh Hoa provinces. The programme will later come to other provinces and cities nationwide.-VNA
