Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Public Health on March 19 afternoonannounced three more flights that carried passengers who have then testedpositive for the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
They are EmiratesAirlines’ flight EK392 from Dubai to Ho Chi Minh City on March 15, Vietjet Airflight VJ642 from Ho Chi Minh City to the central city of Da Nang on March 12,and Turkish Airlines’ flight TK162 from Istanbul to HCM City on March 10.
The ministry hascalled on all passengers on these flights to immediately contact the diseasecontrol centres in cities and provinces to receive guidance on healthmonitoring.
Ticket agents for theflights are responsible for informing their passengers.
As of March 18 night,Vietnam recorded 76 infection cases, of which 16 have fully recovered./.
Citizens of ASEAN countries or those from other countries who have stayed or transited ASEAN member states within 14 days before the date of their entry into Vietnam will be subject to compulsory concentrated quarantine for 14 days since the date of arrival, starting from 0am on March 18.
