Toyota Concerts to charm Hanoi audience

Artists from the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) will perform under the baton of renowned Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji at the annual Toyota Concerts on August 1-2 at the Hanoi Opera House.

According to the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV)Online Newspaper, the 2013 concerts will feature the young 15-year-oldtalented violist Do Phuong Nhi entertaining the audience with classicworks by world famous composers such as P.Tchaikovsky and Y.Akutagawa.

Honna Tetsuji has conducted numerous orchestras around the world,including Hungary , Slovenia , Croatia , Czech Republic andAustralia .

He also led the VNSO to give successful performance tours in the Japan cities of Osaka and Tokyo in 2004.

The 2013 Toyota Concerts are being sponsored by the Vietnam Toyota Foundation.-VNA
