The service will start on March12 once the preparation is completed, according to the Traffic PoliceDepartment under the Ministry of Public Security.

Senior Lieutenant Colonel HoangTien Sy, deputy head of Da Nang city’s traffic police department, saidviolators have to go to police stations to receive violation records and knowthe level of penalties, then pay fines at treasury offices.

Da Nang city’s traffic policedepartment partnered with the local post offices to collect the fines. Peoplecan also go to post offices instead of treasury offices to pay the fines.

To avoid failures, he advisedpeople to carefully check bank accounts and related documents before completingthe process.

The Ministry of Public Securitywill review the trial and apply the services in other localities in the thirdquarter.
