Tuyen Quang keen to develop forests

The northern mountainous province of Tuyen Quang plans to plant more than 10,000 hectares of forests in 2016, raising local forest coverage to over 60 percent.

Tuyen Quang (VNA) – The northern mountainous🐬 province of Tuyen Quang plans to plant👍 more than 10,000 hectares of forests in 2016, raising local forest coverage to over 60 percent. 

The province is encouraging local households to get involved in the project by providing them with land and seedlings. 

It will mobilise different resources for the protection and development of production forests and the environment. 

Tuyen Quang currently has nearly 447,000 hectares of land earmarked for forest development, accounting for 76 percent of local land. 

The province aims to exploit more than 9,400 hectares of 🌄forests, producing more than 765,000 cu.m of wood꧅./.
