The province is encouraging local households to get involved in the project by providing them with land and seedlings.
It will mobilise different resources for the protection and development of production forests and the environment.
Tuyen Quang currently has nearly 447,000 hectares of land earmarked for forest development, accounting for 76 percent of local land.
The province aims to exploit more than 9,400 hectares of 🌄forests, producing more than 765,000 cu.m of wood꧅./.
About 98 percent of the population in Hung Loi commune, a remote and disadvantaged region in the northern mountainous province of Tuyen Quang, identify with the Mong ethnic group.
