Following the victory, President of the Vietnam Football Federation LeKhanh Hai and the VFF Executive Committee's standing board sentcongratulations to the Vietnamese team and announced a bonus worth 300 millionVND to them (13,000 USD).

Vietnam Television (VTV) will cooperate with Next Media Solutions JSC to broadcast live matches of Vietnam's U23 team at the Asian Federation Confederation (AFC) U23 Asian Cup qualifiers, according to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
