VFF ensures delivery of aid to central provinces

Hanoi (VNA) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan affirmed that all donation﷽s to flood victims in central region will b🉐e delivered to the target localities for prompt distribution next week.

At a ceremony to receive donations from the Finance Ministry in Hanoi on October 21, Nhan said VFF chapters will monitor the distribution of aid to ensure it reaches those in need.
He also lauded the support from all ministries, businesses, organisations and individuals for flood victims. On behalf of the Ministry’s staff, Minister Dinh Tien Dung handed over 1.3 billion VND (58,240 USD) to the VFF.
Organisations and individuals can donate for people in the flooded areas through local authorities or the networks of the VFF and Vietnam Red Cross Society. Since October 17, total donations collected through VFF have reached over 4 billion VND (179,217 USD). The VFF had transferred a total of 4.1 billion VND to the five flood-hit central provinces as of October 21.-VNA
