Vice President visits disadvantaged children in Da Nang

Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged children at the Da Nang Women and Children’s Hospital in the central city of Da Nang on June 29.

Da Nang (VNA) - Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thi꧟nh visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged children at the Da Nang Women and Children’s Hospital in the central city of Da Nang on June 29.

At the hospital, Vice President Thinh praised efforts by the health sector and the hospital’s staff in particularly to care for child patients, so that they can go home with their families soon.
She said together with the Party, State and social organisations, the hospital will make the maximum efforts to help the suffering children.
On the occasion, the AIA Insurance Group granted 100 million VND (4,500 USD) to the Da Nang Centre for Children Protection. Da Nang is home to over 2,700 disadvantaged children and over 23,000 others at risk of joining this vulnerable group.-VNA
