Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific add 120,000 seats for New Year holiday

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and budget carrier Jetstar Pacific have announced that between now and January 2, 2019, they will add nearly 120,000 seats on domestic flights serving increasing demand during the Calendar New Year holiday.

Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and budget carrierJetstar Pacific have announced that between now and January 2, 2019, they willadd nearly 120,000 seats on domestic flights serving increasing demand duringthe Calendar New Year holiday.
 
Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines hasplanned close to 54,000 extra seats, while Jetstar Pacific will add nearly 93,000seats.

The seats will be added mainly tohigh demand routes such as Hanoi to/from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Phu Quocisland; and HCM City to/from Da Nang and Phu Quoc.

During this high season, passengersare advised to get tickets from official websites, agents and booking offices,use online and kiosk check-in services, and follow baggage regulations.

Domestic airlines are estimated to carry more than 50 million passengers during2018, up 14 percent from the previous year.-VNA
